The European Consortium of NGOs has been operating since 2020. The consortium brings together foundations and associations that implement projects for the natural environment. Each of them defines its own goals, priorities, rules and standards for granting support. The recipients of our members' assistance are most often other non-governmental organizations, informal civic groups, educational and cultural institutions, and sometimes also individuals. The consortium was established to organize self-help of non-governmental organizations in order to implement their statutory activities. improve skills, maximize effects while minimizing costs. In 2023, the members' meeting decided to move away from the original concept, the consortium as our shared services center, in order to expand the business. In 2024, the launch of the ECONGO fund, the commencement of the chamber of commerce and the commencement of subscriptions to the CSR EXPERT magazine are planned. For this purpose, the consortium's mission has gained an additional mission: to bring together grant donors and disseminate good practices in granting grants. Through our activities, we also try to create friendly and transparent conditions for the development of grant-giving activities and build the social credibility of organizations, companies and institutions that deal with such activities. We intend to co-create modern solutions in the greentech segment that will enable the production and purchase of environmentally friendly energy, under transparent conditions and in a simple way. We are convinced that this approach is the best one that will decarbonize the energy market and contribute to restoring the natural balance to the environment while supporting non-governmental initiatives.
